FAQ’s
Who Should Attend?
If you love photography and nature, then you’ll fit right in with the rest of the group. All ages 18 and over, and all levels of experience are welcome. You will enjoy the camaraderie of meeting other people with similar interests. All of the “on location” workshops require some mild hiking with photo gear.
What Is Included?
Your registration fee includes all instruction and guiding. It does not include food, lodging and transportation. You must also bring your own photo equipment; rentals are not available.
Prerequisites
Be familiar with all of your camera controls and features. We can help, but it may take considerable time away from shooting and teaching to deal with camera issues. Bring your camera manual with you for reference. We recommend Photo Bert’s Cheatsheets for use in the field instead of carrying the ENTIRE manual. Point and shoot cameras won’t cut it. You need a DSLR.
Group Size
10 participants. Email us prior to registering if you wish to know if spaces are still available for the workshop of your choice.
Catalog
SAVE A TREE! We do not offer a printed catalog. All available information is within this website.
Where Do We Stay? / Where Do We Meet?
When you register you will be provided with all of that information. You will make your own motel reservations. Those who register early will find it less difficult to obtain reservations. While you are free to stay anywhere you please, we all use the same meeting facilities and the same departure point for all field trips.
